December brought lots of #picworthy celebrations to my office!

The new Green Pines playground is here! The school community held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday - on the first day of school - to celebrate the playground's opening, and students are already putting the slides, swings and other structures to good use! #WeAreRockwood

Rockwood Summit hosted educators from eight states at a Geometry in Construction (GIC) training session during the week of June 16! The training included a program overview and educators constructing their own playhouses! #WeAreRockwood Learn more: rsdmo.org/news/article/~…

Rockwood Elementary School Parents: if your student has been recommended for Summer Academy this year, the registration period for invited students is open through Friday, April 11. Rockwood Summer Academy is a four-week, no-cost, in-person program and is designed to help students stay academically active, engaged and learning throughout the summer while minimizing summer learning loss. Elementary Summer Academy is open to invited students, based on recommendations from classroom teachers.
