@six28music @lucatimusic The sync button is less beneficial to a DJ than the filter option. If you study the mathematics behind how music works, you'll understand. Timing is everything.

ik the dj discourse is usually about using beat sync or vinyl vs cdjs or whatever but my take is that if, as a dj, you are pulling all your songs off of beatport charts or what’s doing numbers on social media you need to stop immediately and think about why you like djing

@DarqueCity Guys.. technology is there for us to utilize. Crowd doesn't care if you sync or use Rekordbox. Or "use your ear" they want music. All that shit is to impress your dj friends. Just play music

Being a dj that spins vinyl only, I can't get booked. DJs now can't mix but rely on sync to make the magic happen

@marydroppinz i think you should lean more on those breakbeat and electro talents to create something more unique for your forray into this kind of music then that would suit your vibe given that you have the production experience

i didn’t pay too much attention to it and just saw it in passing
there’s a trillion songs that follow a 1-3-2 progression with two eighth notes on the one to start the pattern and then chug with quarters til it repeats so i was a little confused too lol

@aerominion @Kompanymusic the "detective" who discovered this didn't really analyze the tracks past "oh thats the same sample". yes, the sample is in the pack. then people used that as a opportunity to shit on her cuz she's a woman.

@aerominion @Kompanymusic nah.. not really. she used a few bass samples from a shadow samples uk bass vol 1. pack.. one of those samples is also in a demo track. are the tracks similar aside from that. nope.

@Kompanymusic Yes , essentially Deadbeats put out a Mary Droppinz tune that was just a slightly changed sample track loop or something of the sort is what I have gathered

@WillemDaFro Ok so TBF.. the drums are different, and so are other pieces of the track.. It's not a demo rip, use your ears. She did use a couple bass loops as is. Honestly not as bad as it seems IMHO. Are we gonna call out all the songs on beatport with the same damn splice vocal sample?
