I attended a workshop run by @sciphd where I learned how to tailor my academic cv to a resume that would be more attractive to recruiters and hiring managers. They also hosted a networking reception where I awkwardly talked to scientists at local biotechs 3/n

Today is my defense-iversary!🎓 🎂 I attended a networking happy hour hosted by my company where the invitees were local grads and post docs. A grad asked me how I landed a job straight out of school, and my response wasn't good enough 1/n
