The move is to draft Aday Mara and trade Gafford to the Lakers for Rui(sign and trade). A lot of Mavericks fans need to understand that all the elite guards will be taken before us. Get us the best center in the draft, and fix our shooting issues with Rui!

Aday Mara… True giant. 7’3, 7’6 wingspan. Predictably towering in the paint defensively and rarely fouls. What makes him truly unique is that he has one of the highest rim assist percentages of any big in NCAA history. Special mix of size and skill.

Especially to pair him with Kyrie for however long
Either way, that’s an ELITE two way duo with Flagg for 10+ years. INSANE athleticism as well

Two ways to look at this pick with it being likely the last top 10 pick for the Mavs for a while (we did also say this for the Coop and Lively pick, but stuff happens)
1. Mavs should just take a safer guy, and make sure they hit with this pick
2. Mavs should go swinging with this being their most valuable draft asset for a long time

If you think certain guys are better prospects cool, but some of y’all are way too invested into this coming year for this draft pick. To an insane degree honestly This pick is about Coop and who fits next to Coop long term. All the other stuff is gravy. Mavs aren’t competing with OKC and SA next year, breaking news. I want the best guy down the line, not just for this coming season. I couldn’t care less if the Hornets get a good pick in a bad draft, and we’re not gonna be that bad anyway
