America sold its soul for the price of eggs.

And I’ll put a cynical prediction here: sometime in the next four years, we will hear talk about a constitutional amendment to eliminate the two-term limit in the 22nd Amendment.

Well done, America. A convicted felon is our next president. When character goes, what do we have left? But as I often say at work when things don’t go our way, we’ll see how it goes… and then go from there. I just fear that many, many people will suffer in the interim.

In a Christian marriage, a wife should vote according to her husband’s direction. He is the head and they are one. Unity extends to politics. This is not controversial.

There is NO CONFLICT between moderation and ranking being (1) the platform's speech and also (2) immunized by 230. The whole point of 230 was to encourage and immunize moderation. As the law's drafters pointed out, that includes algorithmic ranking. 4/ supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/21/2…

I can't express how unutterably tired I feel after reading this absurd 3rd Cir ruling. It denies TikTok 230 immunity for a claim that is (very thinly) framed as liability based on algorithmic promotion, instead of liability based on user content. 1/ cases.justia.com/federal/appell…

No, he saw Charlottesville and Jan. 6 and everything else. And our whole country failed to teach the kid that violence isn’t the answer. The ballot box is.

The shooter was 20 years old. So he was 12 when Trump first ran for president. And so the kid grew up in a caustic partisan environment. He never heard political leaders talk about compassion for their fellow human beings, collaboration, cooperation, compromise.

Will Trump supporters finally denounce his incessant endorsement of political violence?

And let’s not fall into the trap of thinking that this seriously misguided kid was somehow worse than the thousands of fully formed adults who stormed the Capitol and sought to assassinate VP Pence, Nancy Pelosi, and whomever else—over a lie.

Couldn’t fully reject violence during the debates (“stand by”). Head of Heritage Foundation/Project 2025 says the conservative revolution will be “bloodless” *if* liberals acquiesce. He/they didn’t think the cultural climate he created would come back to haunt him?

Really hate false advertising. On @Roku looking for a Charlie Brown Christmas. Roku says it’s free on the Rediscover Television app. So I download the app, set up an account (i.e., give them my personal info), and try to watch… but can’t watch without a paid subscription!
