@MNTwinsZealot Moneyball (2011) The cast was great and it was well acted. But the movie was fradulent. The 2002 A's won because of Zito, Mulder, Hudson and Koch. Pitching. Not even mentioned in the movie. Analytics has it's place in baseball but it's never the whole story.

@___daner Apple Valley seems like a stretch. They are No. 40 in enrollment now according the MSHSL. Rochester Mayo won a 6A playoff game last year but enrollment is down in the district this year.

@RyanJamesMN Chaska has wins over Shakopee, Lakev South. Scheduled all Class 4A teams in non-league play. Waconia is 13-13 compared to 10-16 for Chaska, but 3 of those wins are over Class 2A SW Christian and Class 3A Holy Angels and Delano.

Coaches will enter these seeding Meetings armed with a recent head to head win and that one game will cast aside every ounce of logic known to man.

@MNHockeyStar Holy Angels has not made a section final since 2007. They play a weak regular season schedule, lots of gimmies where stats are padded. They are not battle tested come playoff time.

6AA is a lot like the NFL You think this is the year someone other than Edina or Wayzata might break through and they both go complete Kansas City Chiefs and end up in the Super Bowl.

@JaredMartyMN On 6A Bracket Show, Randy Shaver said over n over how great it is that this format ensures best 4 teams make state semis. But when he had MSHSL official on the show, he was afraid to ask how do you ensure Class 5A n below has 4 best teams in state semis, starting w/Section 2, 5A.

The biggest travesty in MN high school football this season is that only one of the two clear-cut best teams in Class 5A is going to make the State Tournament.
