The more you build the more you learn. The more you learn the more you can build. I found out that EIP-3009 is designed to enabled transfers with authorization. EIP-3009 utilizes EIP-712 signatures, which allows the signing of structured data. Simply put, EIP-3009 when implemented directly within the smart contract extending an ERC-20 token allows a signature to be signed that allows the transfer of that token. From what I can see, a few tokens support EIP-3009 such as @withAUSD and the most popular @USDC by @circle . This makes makes USDC ideal for support with payments both normally and for agents/machines, especially with the subsidized gas on @base . A couple things toto consider: 1. Outside of the United States, a significant amount of the world defaults to USDT by Tether. 2. When focused on agentic payments with x402; native EIP-3009 support by default should make things easier, but seems like it can be bypassed with a secure forwarder. Next Up (all already in progress): a. A single token forwarder b. A multi-token forwarder c. Discussions with facilitators on supporting forwarders Goal: Bring x402 to @SkaleNetwork to compress gas fees to zero for micropayments
