So here is my honest review of Meghan Markle and her performance on MasterChef. And make no mistake, it was just that: a performance.Not to be mean, this is just my honest opinion and review on how I saw it. From the start, she was called a global icon, and they actually believe that, when in fact she is globally despised by many. They believed it so much they gave her the red carpet, and she walked it as if she was a model, not a foodie. Because she is a foodie, not a chef or even a home cook. They say she has a lifestyle brand, but failed to say she has a failed lifestyle brand, better known for being called "As If" than As Ever. "High-caliber guest judge" was another title they gave her, yet she is in no way high caliber in that field. She is no Gordon Ramsay or Wolfgang Puck. I myself can indeed talk about cooking because I was a cook for many years, on the side of other things. I was also in hotel and restaurant management. She made a comment about how Harry likes his pud. I'd say she has never made a pud, or the meal before it. Before Prince Harry, a real title, deserved or not, but historically a family title, the only thing she was known for was Deal or No Deal and Suits. If not for Suits, she would never be remembered for Deal or No Deal, and without Harry she would not be remembered for Suits. She talks about the sentimentality of family while she has destroyed and ignored her own, even in crisis, and has also tried her level best to destroy the British Royal Family. But she would not be the first to try that over the years, and they all failed. Family means nothing to her. She also claimed the guy's dessert was a Michelin-star dessert. I bet it was really good, for sure. I mean, he is in the MasterChef kitchen and is an actual cook. But what would she know about what it takes to have a Michelin-star dessert? She is barely, if at all, a home cook. All those cooking shows she said she watched taught her how to pretend to be a cook. Bringing Harry on the show was so fake, as if he just randomly called, not knowing she was on the show at that minute, so she could brag about the fact he was with the vets. That was so fake and cringey, as the kids say. She was asked about her show, With Love, Meghan, and she said the two shows were a lot alike. Hmmmm. except hers was canceled and MasterChef will go for another season. Does anybody really think she is a cook and cooks for Harry and the kids every day? They asked what she would cook, and her answer was a non-answer. That was not too bright. She had to have everything explained to her, and she looked confused, like she had no clue what the real cooks were talking about. She wants a recipe for banana, coconut, and date cake. As a cook, I never used a recipe, but I guess if you're not a cook, you would need a recipe for a simple cake. Banana, coconut, dates. hmmm, what could go in that, I wonder? Personally, telling people they had 30 minutes left just looked stupid, not funny. And people clapped like it was the best performance, and that she had graced them personally with her presence. I am pretty sure the people of Sussex do not consider her their Duchess of any kind. She would be just another forgotten actress if not for that title, which she brings out only for profit and not for service to Sussex or the Kingdom. I don't hate her, and I don't think she is ugly or any of that stuff. But what I do dislike very much is how she acts and how she treats people she is meant to show grace to. I hate that she talks about family when she clearly has no idea how to respect family. Her performance on the show, as I said, was just that: a performance. It came up lacking. It came up cringey, obviously fake, and over-the-top groveling to her feet as if all were mere commoners before her. Bottom line, I think she sucks as a person, and I hope someday she will see what she is doing is wrong. I too had to come to that level of honesty many years ago, and I turned it around and started serving others. MBR
