The Faculty Development Programme was conducted at SIMATS College of Occupational Therapy on 19/03/2026. The session was held at 1:00 pm onwards on the 6th floor of the Health Science Block.

On 26th and 27th February, the students of SIMATS College of Occupational Therapy actively participated in the Carrom and Chess competitions organized by SIMATS College of Basic Medical Sciences. Our students secured First Prize in both Carrom and Chess.

On 6th February, SIMATS College of Occupational Therapy conducted a Faculty Development Program on “Effective Strategies for Writing and Publishing Research Articles in High Impact Journals.” The session was delivered by Dr. T. Arulking Giftson, OT, Associate Professor.

A community outreach program under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiative was conducted by the students of SIMATS College of Occupational Therapy at Molachur Village. Awareness was created about Occupational Therapy (OT) and its role in rehabilitation.

On 23rd December, SIMATS College of Occupational Therapy conducted a Christmas Decoration Competition for the students. The classrooms were beautifully decorated, showcasing creativity, a welcoming festive atmosphere, and active participation of the entire class. ✨

SIMATS College of Occupational therapy successfully hosted a National Level Conference on “Holistic Healthcare for Persons with Disabilities” on 19th December 2025, highlighting the importance of inclusive, multidisciplinary healthcare approaches for persons with disabilities.
