@scot_text It unfairly disadvantages strong writers. There's real skill involved in writing discursively AND creatively effectively. This stops them from demonstrating versatility. My class is split down the line for creative/discursive. To teach one would be to do half a disservice.

Return of the spoken language component, but maintaining one folio piece🤦🏻‍♀️ I know literally no-one who thinks this reduces workload or adds to the course. I HATE one folio piece. We teach both anyway, so that learners can play to their strength. Terrible decision.
