XLK up more than 20% in the past 13 days, something we've only seen at: Covid lows 2009 lows 2002 lows And a handful of times in the dot-com bust/decline. Biggest difference is none were even CLOSE to an all-time high, which XLK is making today

@mfranks129 @LJKawa It is intraday highs for both the index and stocks. Whenever you see a stocks at "new 52-week highs" list, it is almost always going to be stocks that hit a new high at some point during the day.

@LJKawa @scottcharts Does this use closing prices? Would be interesting to see if you get the same results for something like “within 1% of 52w highs” to correct for stocks that had a small selloff into close and are technically not at the 52 weeks high at close

Just 2 sessions since 1990 with fewer S&P 500 constituents at 52w highs when the benchmark index closed at a record than yesterday: -Nov 13, 2020 -March 21, 2000 (h/t to @scottcharts for the inspo)

Today was truly rare. An all-time high for the S&P 500, but only 12 stocks in the index made a 52-week high. Since 1999, we've only seen five readings that weak or worse

Airbnb continues to set up well. Above $139 would break the stock out of this year-long base

Mag 7 is coming back, just as everyone couldn't get rid of those names fast enough to buy Staples at 25x. Seriously, that happened just a couple weeks ago. Nice one from @scottcharts in his report this AM that shows NVDA could be ready for another move to new highs after a false breakdown.

GUNR is looking tired here. Finding resistance at $56, moving averages starting to flatten and RSI trending in the opposite direction

Technology led the way higher with a more than 4% gain for the second-straight week. But XLK couldn't avoid a death cross, its first since March 2025

Another risk-off signal for this market. Berkshire has been dead money since last summer and hit its lowest level since August on Friday. But, it's breaking out in relative terms and looks poised for more outperformance

Communication services didn't get this oversold during the Covid crash or last April. In fact, today's record oversold reading breaks the record from November 2021, when XLC was just starting its 47% drawdown

That is one looong blue line. A month ago, Fed fund futures were pricing in the next cut as June. This June. Now it's October '27

The 10-year couldn't close above 4.3% yesterday, but is trying again this morning. Lot of whipsaws (in both directions) with this chart, but this would sure look like a breakout
