On Brazil… One of the best days of my life was the day I was told about my first area in Canela and Gramado (the Park City of Brazil, if you will), RS, Brazil becoming a stake. In the 20 years since I had left it turned from a single branch meeting above a bar into a stake.

Whatever money the BYU athletic department has, they're not spending it on halftime entertainment. Probably fifth or sixth time this year we get the BYU Dunk team. Kind of like watching somebody win the 100m dash while riding a motorcycle. I want Red Panda! #BYUBASKETBALL

@LOBig12 In 2011 I had “Intermediate Skiing” class in the afternoon and went to Jimmer vs Kawhi that same night.

I’m not sure if the rest of the big 12 understands this is 11 minutes from the BYU campus. imagine leaving 2 p.m. calculus to go ski then watch the no. 1 overall draft pick hoop.

The flu bug is so bad in Utah Valley right now that they are canceling outpatient surgeries that require hospitalization due to a lack of beds. I would not be surprised if we find out later that multiple players are sick right now.

In 2020, 9-0 BYU and 9-0 Coastal Carolina scheduled a game on 3 days notice. It was a really fun game and one of the most impressive displays of logistics this decade. The Italians found out they were hosting the Olympics 7 years ago and are still working on it. 😅
