If the FA Cup Final used to be a special day for you, then the first Cup Final you can clearly remember watching will roughly give away your age, as you will have been around 6 or 7 years old
1973 Sunderland 1 Leeds 0
@UTDRico8 Always said it all changed after the overhead kick against Everton. Everything went too his head after that moment, thought he was fuckin Ronaldo when in reality he’s the Poundland version.🙄
@westsidemalabo Try being 3 miles from the border where you’re completely forgotten, thousands of timber wagons every year destroying the roads with minimal repairs. Threats of huge pylons too take “net zero” electricity south blotting the landscape and no hope of investment unless it’s local.🙄
I had a Renault 5GTL 1.4 way back in the early 90s.
This new electric version gets the styling spot-on, and is the most faithful of all the recent EV rebrands of 80s & 90s classics.
What do you think?
@Harry_sims95 Nice reminds me of when we had to get a coach back from playing Carlisle when there was a train strike. still worth every penny to get a result.
@LOS_Fisher Jesus bleeping Christ, I thought it was bad enough about the husband arrested on suspicion of spying for the Chinese, now there’s infidelity involved. If you wrote a tv script with this stuff in it, you’d be told get outta here, this stuff doesn’t happen here in the UK. US maybe.
🚨EXC: The captain of one of Britain’s nuclear-armed submarines has stepped back from his role this week after being investigated over his relationship with Joani Reid, the Labour MP whose husband has been arrested on suspicion of spying for China

1/ Reform’s energy surrender plan would sell out our energy security to fossil fuel interests, trash the countryside with fracking, cost hundreds of thousands of clean energy jobs and cause bills to skyrocket.
@andyps1275@Artemisfornow I’ve said it for long enough now, these b******s are only in power for a short period and so they’ll do whatever they can for self gain, then swan off with their ill gotten gains, without a single care for the public they’re supposed to serve.😏
@Artemisfornow It was inevitable they would do that, I've posted about it a few times. And our government either knew and didn't care, or were too incompetent to realise. Either way it shows how little government care about us.
‼️ This is your Sunday WTF moment …
British carmakers are paying cash to subsidise Chinese manufacturers because they couldn’t sell enough EVs to hit government targets.
Under the UK’s Zero-Emission Vehicle rules, they have to sell increasing % of EVs. If they don’t hit those targets, they must buy credits from companies that did sell enough EVs
And guess what … that means British car makers giving cash to Chinese cheap EV manufacturers.
Exactly like the EU. This is the most ridiculous, mind blowing self destruction bollocks policy ever made up 💣
A lot of people will be jumping on the “Make Carrick permanent” bandwagon after our results against City and Arsenal. I’m very reluctant to do that given the Solskjaer experience.
However, I just wonder - if Carrick could do this with our squad, what could an Ancelotti do?
The USA minted its last penny yesterday after 232 years of existence.
The decision to stop production was taken due to inflation and the fact that the cost of minting it now exceeds its value by 300%
