@LWillson_82 @AtomicSh0cker @TSNScianitti @CFLonTSN 🤦‍♂️ that was a bone head move. Does Twitter allow edits on tweets? I agree, those are all things that the league should work towards. We should talk more about them when we put in our bid for the London franchise.

Thanks for the apology; It was the “hello Mr Wilson” (spelled wrong) that was a bit weird, or the fact that you could have easily gotten my cell number from numerous people, or the idea that I didn’t understand how the clock works lol. But thanks for that. My solutions are more meeting time and time in building, More coaches and personnel. Longer off season and camp. Coaches allowed,

This is one of the most exciting, dramatic, up, down -- both teams win and lose one play to the next -- finishes in the regular season I've experienced. Yeah, it ain't pretty... but I'll keep the final three minutes @LWillson_82 😉@CFLonTSN

@LWillson_82 @AtomicSh0cker @TSNScianitti @CFLonTSN Appologies if it came off condescending. I have nothing but respect for someone who played at the highest level and love what you are doing back in London. X is of course the platform where all communication seems confrontational. What are your solutions to these issues you poise?

Hey Scott! Thanks for the note. Tbh it came off a bit condescending but perhaps I read it wrong. I believe you were helping us earlier this year at for the Jr. stangs! Let’s address some points here, first off you’re a DB, I don’t think you know nearly close to enough about end of game offensive strategy to be giving me this lecture. But hopefully you’ll enjoy this response. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you don’t have a 4.5 hour time crunch on your weekly schedule of practice and prep time. We would go through numerous end of game scenarios and end of half scenarios every single week, numerous times. To address your first point, I’m very familiar with how the clock works in Canada. “The ref blowing it in” seems like it takes literally forever. One funny thing I find about it is that it’s literally so slow to be blown in that teams continue to take their full waggle because ‘time’ is simply not of the essence. Your idea that a team would “clock the ball” in a 2 down league is quite comical. At first I was confused that you would even suggest such an idea. Then I realized you’ve never actually had to execute an actual 2 min drive due to the fact that you’ve been in Canada. So let me explain what generally happens when you’re pressed for time. The QB has to run the show, the offense has to sprint to the line and usually everything is done on code words or signals. For example if we have a big first down completion. The QB might be yelling at the O line to go run and get set. As everyone is running he is yelling “2 jet”! As he is communicating that, he will also be calling the formation, let’s say its double right or 2x2 (American game for now) to save time generally you will keep your X and Z on the same side they were on after the snap. So those two need to know both spots. As we get set, let’s say we call or signal “Aggie” the AG in Aggie is your clue it would stand for “all go” so you’re Go balls outside and seam routes inside. 2 jet is going to be 1/2 slide to The nickel/will (remember in American game it’s not really field or boundary, we would call whomever is to the Y (TE) the sam, and then man to the call side, your Hb is Mike to Sam. Qb has about a second or two to peak and see if he needs to make adjustments.. some of those could be; Super deep defenders = make a snap call outside (10 yard hitch) , cov 0 = perhaps check to a full slide protection or even bring the Y into the protection. Seems like a lot I know. So we might rep this in OTA’s (very beneficial to have when you’re younger) and camp (which is much longer than 2 weeks) but as we lock in on the specific plays we utilize a ton on these situation we would “1 word” it. Our one word for Aggie was actually “indy” so if Russ yelled Indy. Everyone knew it was 2jet Aggie. So we have our 1 words but also the ability to pretty much call anything. To me this to the purest and most impressive parts of pro football. When done correctly it is also extremely entertaining! Pete Carroll used to use the phrase “be quick but don’t hurry”. I’ll let you interpret that yourself. Couple final points. I really can’t stand the down more than one score idea. It’s the epitome of mediocrity. The CFL cannot continue to grow if you’re going to rely on boring product for 57 mins then an electric last 3. As a pro football player I would expect you to want to the full game to really matter. Instead there is this super weak attitude amongst certain players that they can play mediocre ball then ‘flip the switch’ in the last 3 mins..I was told by a player the other day who played for Trestman, that he would refer to the final 3 minutes as a different game.. talk about a gimmick! Perhaps teams should play better and not be down numerous scores late instead of relying on the final minutes and gimmick rules! The timeout points are moot. Use them to your advantage based on the rules. In final if we need a two minute drive to win the OSFL title we’ve failed as coaches.

@LWillson_82 @AtomicSh0cker @TSNScianitti @CFLonTSN more than one score? No problem! The offence (theoretically winning) is forced to attempt to gain first downs to bleed the clock. In essence, the game doesn't care how much you are up, you have to keep playing until the final whistle. The rules are built for large comeback wins

What a pitiful performance by the fans in Toronto. As a lifelong Leafs fan, that was the worst fan performance I've ever seen. Playoff hockey is a gift that those people just wasted.

A guy can win OUR countries most valuable player, a few conference MVP’s and you would hear crickets from TSN and other major sports programs throughout his college career… Sad you gotta be seen by a different country to be respected in your own.. Proud of you 13, keep going

What a difference a week makes. Bills fans lived and died by a pass dropped by a tight end. Football is a beautifully ironic game.
