@angiejphysio Start with side flexion then check extension. If Sx free, combine SF + ext. If Sx free progress to Single leg hop test. If Sx free, repeat hop test in combined ext + SF.

There is no gold standard objective test for a lumbar bone stress injury. In more acute or advanced stages lumbar extension and side flexion may be painful on end ranges. But if it is not, what is your go to objective test to help support the diagnosis? #LBSI #spondylolysis

Why don’t the @thecsp just represent NHS physio and relinquish representation of private / sports physios as appropriate. Just support and protect who you actually ‘want’ to. Let medical insurance know that physios do NOT need CSP reg, just HCPC
