If you're a normal person, you can enjoy a nice glass of wine or a beer. I simply cannot just have one. I drink to excess and black out. I get rageful and suicidal. We live in a society that glamorizes alcohol. It seems I upset some of the normies.

@SoberEmpath Absolutely. Some of us celebrate it, for some it is very personal, but to make people feel they can't share is the most anti-recovery thing I've read. I've seen so much loss and pain. Celebrate your serenity and health.

I will not stay quiet when so many people are dying from addiction. Period. I’ve lost beautiful people to this disease because they stayed quiet. What a horrible thing to say.
