If the Jazz actually do try to trade up for #1, my best guess as to what the deal would realistically look like is:
Wizards get- #2, Ace Bailey, 2 protected future FRP
Jazz get- #1, Tre Johnson
In this case i think the wizards would then pick Cameron boozer at #2. I only see the wiz doing this if they feel boozer is good enough to go #1. I know for a fact Ryan smith prefers Aj Dybantsa to Ace Bailey. He’s not gonna be scared to give up 2 futures 1sts if it’s getting the guy he was a donner for and financed his way through college, along with all the other connections between the two sides.

I don’t know how many times I need to say this …..the Jazz have ZERO LEVERAGE in a hypothetical trade scenario with us. If they want to move up to 1 and Washington is asking for Ace as a part of the deal, then he will be a part of the deal. We can literally just sit and pick 😂
