Last week I hit State Capitols #35 and 36 in my quest to visit all 50 state capitols. My work trip to the Pacific Northwest let me travel to Salem, OR and Olympia, WA. Two very different styles of Capitol building. Oregon’s is one of only 5 art deco state capitols in the country and is more understated, but befitting Oregon earthy sensibilities. Washington is much more classic and marble-clad. A truly impressive structure. I was impressed by both! #fidelityassociate #ilovemyjob

What an awesome day we had spending time with 170 rockstars at our orientation this weekend on our Fidelity Westlake campus! This is the Fidelity Scholars cohort from Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. All of these incoming freshmen are the recipients of last-dollar full scholarships and wrap-around college coaching and support that will allow them them to graduate on time, with virtually no debt and a job in hand. The Fidelity Scholars program focuses on students from disadvantaged environments, with more than 80% of them being first generation college attendees. Entering the third year of this amazing program, Fidelity now has more than 1,200 scholars excelling at universities across the country. Truly making an investment in this next generation of leaders in our communities! #fidelityassociate

I love my job, but some days I REALLY love my job. What a delight it was to sit and talk with Dr. Opal Lee, the Grandmother of Juneteenth! How often do you get to visit one-on-one with a true living legend--someone who has literally changed the world. And to top it off I had the incredible pleasure knowing that Fidelity will be the Presenting Corporate Sponsor for the National Juneteenth Museum, which will soon break ground in Fort Worth. We are thrilled to be partnering with this iconic organization recognizing the importance of Juneteenth and its indelible place in history. Thanks to Jarred Howard, CEO of the museum and to the Fort Worth Forum for bringing us all together to connect!

It was my honor as Board Chair of @DallasCASA to present our Champions of Children Award to the @dallasmavs, represented by their incredible CEO @cyntmarshall and owner and Governor Patrick Dumont. The Mavs are the epitome of a community champion, supporting children through a multitude of channels. I’ve witnessed my good friend Cynt as she has led the Mavericks to become not only a powerhouse basketball team but a truly transformative organization for good in the region. A well-earned honor!
