I’ve spent over 21 years training landlords and agents on the importance of compliance with housing law. For the Chancellor of the Exchequer to rent out her own property without the legally required selective licence is simply unacceptable. Someone in her position should absolutely know better. If this were any ordinary landlord, they’d face a hefty fine and possible prosecution.
