No matter what city I go to 3 things are true: 1. All the high school coaches and trainers don’t think the state school offers enough of their kids. 2. The trainers think the high school coaches can’t coach, and the high school coaches think the trainers can’t train. 3. There were 120 first-round district playoff games in Missouri this weekend (not including 3 forfeits). Of those 120 games, the average margin of victory was 29.89 points. There were 16 instances of a lower seeded team beating the higher seeded team. Of those 16 games, 6 featured a team with a losing record beating a team with a winning record. One of those was a 4-5 team beating a 5-4 team. Make of that what you will.
