To ease some of the queuing into Hesley Wood, we are opening the car park where the fairground was and parking some of you. The one-way system will remain in place. When we do park you, please park as directed by our team to maximise usage but also so we can get folks out again

Parents: County has scheduled specific departure slots for each group. Please, do not arrive prior to your allotted pick up time. Should you arrive early, the logistics team will ask you to return later. Unsure of your timing, please contact your group leader Thank you!

Closing ceremony details: Please gather in the camp centre at 2pm. We will start the closing ceremony as soon as people are assembled, circa 2:10pm so that we fit the schedule of 2:30pm for first departures.

Nobby’s got some new wheels! Oh, did we mention he had an accident? Big thanks Hesley for rushing him to to the medical team. Those medics are our unsung heroes; their fantastic care patching him up was appreciated! Nobby lost an ear, but went back to work with no complaints.

Teams (of 4) will plot their own path around specific activities in a Scouttastic 180-minute challenge. It's a speed event, with points awarded for difficulty, success and participation. For some of the challenges, they'll face off against other teams, so competitive too!

Camper update: We're going to close the toilet block nearest the canoeing lake for extended maintenance. Please use the one towards the top of the long field, or alternatively, opposite camp-fire circle.
