@enjinshoe i think even if they had found a way to make it work, people get so classist about southern accents i fear how zanka’s mannerisms would’ve been perceived or written off by assholes 😭 it was for the best

@scrapheaps i went to a gachi panel at a con & someone asked corey wilder abt zanka and they were like "yknow for the dub we tried a southern accent at first but it just didnt feel right" and thats all i think abt when i see him being written like he speaks in yeehaws & bible verses
