Steroids rule India. Out of 3736648 active cases of COVID19 today, 25 L must be on steroids (best guess). 80% of these (20 L) would have high or very high sugars (if diabetic), or would have become diabetic if at risk. So rapid addition of new diabetes/majorly high sugars (1/2)
