I'm obsessed with Agatha Christie's life and work, which is why my books are inspired by her mysteries 🤩 She just really knew how to create mind-bending #CrimeFiction novels to lose yourself in... Which author are you most inspired by?

@atlasjlively Yes and no 😂 I think if we didn't have the racism and sexism I'd go back to 70s and 80s

I learnt yesterday that I’m now considered old because I was born in 1997. I honestly wish we could travel back in time to the 90s, but am I the only who wants this? 💕

What the hell has happened to my feed! It's suddenly void of book and writing stuff, and filled with political anger! Authors, readers, book lovers say hi. I need to re-train the algorithm.

@scriblotta Believe it or not, romantasy! I used to read High Fantasy and of course being in Asia, manga. But recently I have started to ready romantasy and I got to admit, I have to push myself to finish one of those novels.

@BenDixonAuthor Did you self-publish?

@scriblotta Yes. I wrote a trilogy of teen comedies having read nothing like it since Adrian Mole in the 80s. It turns out nobody else writes that so there wasn't a genre to explore. Apparently, publishers think teens don't like irreverent comedy!

@scriblotta The Father wanted to stay, but he was a human and she was an elf. It was frowned upon, so he was forced to leave before the baby was born and never knew she was even pregnant. So tragic!

@theajennda Historical fiction using definitely the subplot and used more for the settings & the vibes (probably can explain it better in a DM without a character limit) but it started off as trying to be gothic fiction & give the spooky vibes of Weathering Heights
