I stayed up waaaaaay too late last night poking at mastodon and micro.blog stuff until I finally realized in a haze my use of social sharing has been very minimal over the last year. I was in the “learning about new tech is fun” groove and forgot “sleep is good.”

@csfinn I just started using @BoardGameGeek to build my games database and @BGStatsApp for play stats. Pretty awesome for a data nerd. So far, after 1 recorded play, Friday is my most common game day and I’ve won 100% of my games! Plus I set a new high score!

It is incredible to observe how fast the tech world changes. Companies which seem unassailable suddenly disappear into footnotes of history.

@csfinn Yes, this. I’ve been working to increase my fuel efficiency, and it’s fascinating how so many people blast along at 80 or more everywhere. One, how do they afford that, especially in those fuel guzzling cars? Two, what happened to speed traps? No one has any patience either.

@csfinn Stop using the Twitter clients. I have never seen an ad or promoted tweet on Twitter. The 3rd party clients make Twitter 2 million times better. I love Tweetbot.

@privateD4L There are always new viewers. But I still think we've seen enough Batman origin stories. These days people can easily go back and stream one if they're curious. We don't need a Bond origin story every few years, for example -- or ever.
