We are mourning alongside the entire Simpson College community following the passing of President Jay Byers. His pride in Storm Athletics and his presence at our games, meets, and matches reflected his true love for this college and its people. We will miss his energy, his encouragement, and the way he showed up for all of us.

It is with great sadness to share that @SimpsonCollege President Jay Byers has passed away. Our thoughts are with the Simpson community, Byers’ family, and all who knew him during this difficult time.
