Too many blades fans live in a fantasy land. Changing a manager doesnt always equate to better results. We need a long term plan. Its probably going to be 2 years until we seriously challenge for promotion. The rebuild starts now with limited funds. Give wilder 2 full seasons.

@M_Eggy1 There isnt another manager out there id trust more to manage us in our current situation. Fans need to get more realistic. We are a yoyo club at the very very best but challenging for play offs is going to be are new norm with the lack of funds now.

@wazzaundabridge Wilder was still rebuilding the squad and we got 92 points he needed this summer to finish the job but the board set us back years sacking him

The boards decision to sack Wilder wasn't a mistake, the appointment of Ruben Selles was,and now they're shit scared to do the right thing,if Wilder can't get a tune out of this squad then God help us next season when we're picking from frees also rans and loans

The last time he said something along these lines, we narrowly missed out in a play off final the season after. Trust him.

@scuba178 15 is the price for Peck so I'm lead to believe, that's upfront too. Big clauses too, realistic ones too. Gus we'll get 8-10 from somewhere in Europe who just want to get it done quick, the other 2 we'll be able to negotiate a bit I think. Should all 4 go, I'd expect to see 40m

The concept of losing Peck for £15m hurts, but there has to be some big future fees in there, hopefully acheivable ones too. Brooks and Femi for between £8-£12m each and hopefully get £10m for Gus... spend that well and we'll be in a decent position next season. 👌⚔️🫡

Can we stop pretending we’re getting the play offs? Southampton are 2 points off the play offs and I never see anyone talking about them getting top 6. I’m just happy to consolidate after Selles, go under the radar and hit the league hard next season. #SUFC
