@ChrisCuomo I was a bit confused when you labeled the children as Jews. Not that it makes a difference to those poor kids but it really blew your argument about Jews being persecuted out of the water. Israel and Jewish are not synonymous. That said, I'll buy Israel being persecuted.

Even if this aid eventually passes, Ukraine will be in a worse position and Ukrainians will die because their closest ally turned its back on them today. The Senate voted today on whether to help Ukraine—Republicans voted no.

Supplemental aid for Ukraine failed today in Congress. Republicans believe they need to put on a show & posture before eventually passing aid to maintain the support of their base. But the simple fact is, US aid to Ukraine is out and Russia will be helped as a result of this.
