Listening to Shane Malloy on 650, probably my most trusted of draft analysts, he definitely has me feeling less concerned about falling to 3. The potential of having Willander, Buium, D-Petey and Verhoeff patrolling the #Canucks blueline for a decade wouldn't be a bad thing.

Zadorov excelled in Vancouver as well. He has never been more than a 4/5 defenceman, and he played really well in the 23/24 playoffs for Van.

Podkolzin is literally everything you'd think Tocchet would want in a player.
I don't think it's an Anti-Euro thing for what it's worth, but rather I think he struggles coaching players who struggle to speak English.
The trend is too damning to ignore.
There is no universe where Daniel Sprong should be in a Rick Tocchet coached lineup over Vasili Podkolzin

I have no intel but certainly sounds like Myers doesn’t want to go to Detroit and hoping another team steps up with a good offer. Question is, are the Canucks committed to trading him now and getting whatever they get? Or will they bring him back? Could get awkward.
