SO COOL & really highlights the importance of mechanism-focused research & treatment. IMO more focus should be on the PROCESSES underlying *transdiagnostic* clinical presentations and interventions targeting *those same processes.* Need to synchronize research & practice! 🧠

Ever wondered how many symptoms make up all of adult psychopathology described in the DSM-5? It’s 628! How many do you think repeat across multiple diagnoses? If you answered 231 symptoms repeating a total of 1022 times (median 3 times per symptom, range 2-22), good job! 🧵

Of note, kitty concurs that TJ's is overrated. Limitations include inconsistent temperature due to staggered cooking procedures, & lack of double-blind testing due to limited resources & feasibility. Future work should build upon these results to explore generalizability (5/6)
