Congrats to the @NYSDOT on their $324k award from the #WildlifeCrossingsPilotProgram and happy to say I had a small part in it! This allows us to develop a toolkit for identifying #roadkill and #connectivity opportunities. Safer roads! I look forward to working with you all!

Excited to share this work on the benefit of selfing in colonization! @MLBS_UVA @uvabio Baker’s law (selfing provides a demographic advantage in colonizing new habitats) has a lot of theoretical and biogeographic support. We added to this rich history with experimental data!

Exciting update #RIFisherStudy! We received an email that one of our fisher collars was found and after hooking up a new battery we were able to get the data back - low and behold it was one of our males from 2021, the first year of the study! Got 4 months of data back! @_eobs_
