An insanely close pass by this van driver. It got issued the largest fine from any of my reports to date. £1,200 fine and £470 court costs. This was due to failing to notify the police who was driving.

Genuine question as someone who’s never been road riding… Almost everything I see from roadies is about pain, suffering, target setting, training etc… It sounds miserable, do roadies never just go out and have fun? Fair play if that’s your thing but what am I missing?

I might regret asking this here, but I've wondered for such a long time: what is the supposed benefit of low-cadence intervals? (typically longer intervals in Z3 of a 5-zone model, but I've also seen shorter Z5 intervals) #cycling
