@Adventuring_RE @CityofSanDiego While we are facing a fiscal cliff, reserves are not expected to run out until FY29, and our Board approved a tentative plan to further delay the fiscal cliff for an additional few years, until FY31. (And, you must not ride the Trolley if you think it's always empty😝)

NONE OF THE MATH WORKS ANYWHERE… @CityofSanDiego is literally a house of cards. @sdmts 👀 The Trolley is basically empty anytime of day and losing a hundred million-ish per year… the insides smell like human waste and decay. “Reserves will be exhausted by ~mid-FY2026 or soon after.”

This week we’re voting on a 700 million bailout for Bay Area rail. If we can’t keep basic rail running in the Bay Area without a bailout and tax hike, why are we pretending High-Speed Rail between Fresno and Bakersfield will magically work? The math doesn’t lie.
