Government lawyers will ask the Court of Appeal to overturn the controversial injunction banning asylum seekers from being housed at an Essex hotel. The legal battle comes despite the Refugee Council adding its voice to calls for the Home Office to stop using so-called 'Asylum Hotels'. One refugee has told Good Morning Britain that migrants placed in the accommodation suffer terrible isolation and loneliness. @richardgaisford reports.

Our pupils visited @PritchardsBooks today and explored the shelves and chose new titles for our library thanks to a generous £500 grant from @sdowdtrust The children discussed authors, read blurbs, and collaborated with the shop staff to pick out the most captivating books.
