Japan's Civilization vs. China's Double Standards.
Two incidents. Two governments. Two completely different definitions of “civilization.”
A Japanese soldier illegally enters the Embassy of China in Tokyo—no injuries. Within hours: full disclosure, name, motive, apology from Shinjiro Koizumi, and intense media scrutiny.
Now compare that to Shenzhen.
A Chinese man brutally kills a 10-year-old Japanese child. Beijing calls it an “isolated case.” No apology. No transparency. No clear motive. The trial is opaque. The execution is carried out quietly. Even Japan isn’t told the details.
Modern civilization means rule of law, transparency, due process, and basic human compassion, especially when a child is murdered.
Japan met that standard.
Beijing didn’t.
And here’s the uncomfortable truth: when a government demands accountability abroad but refuses it at home, it’s exposing a system built on control, opacity, and double standards.

Japan just made a quiet but historic move — it officially downgraded its relationship with China. China tried to pressure Japan and It backfired spectacularly. For decades, China–Japan ties were considered one of the most important in Asia. That’s no longer the case. Tokyo is now distancing itself, redefining China as just an “important neighbor” while strengthening its alignment with the United States. But here’s the real twist: While China pressures Japan economically and politically, Japan’s stock market keeps hitting record highs. The Nikkei 225 is telling a completely different story — one of confidence, capital inflows, and a country preparing for a new era.

Peace-loving people around the world should unite to resolutely curb the resurgence and spread of ‘neo-militarism’ in Japan, and to firmly uphold regional peace and stability as well as the safety and well-being of the people, said a Chinese defense spokesperson at a regular press conference on Thursday.
Senior Colonel Jiang Bin, spokesperson for China's Ministry of National Defense (MND), made the remarks in response to the recent statement made by Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, who reportedly said that with the rising military capabilities of China and the DPRK, as well as their closer cooperation with Russia, Japan faces its most severe and complex security environment since WWII. She noted the necessity of preparing for “new fighting styles” involving the extensive adoption of UAVs, and for prolonged conflicts.
We are all aware of the undeniable fact that Japan invaded all of its neighboring countries. As a nation that once inflicted profound suffering upon the people of Asia and the world, and that has yet to genuinely reflect on its historical crimes of aggression, Japan is now keeping exaggerating the so-called external threats — a completely unfounded narrative driven by ulterior motives, said the spokesperson.
The spokesperson pointed out that, it's more than obvious that the true intention of the Japanese administration is to divert public attention from domestic problems, mislead the international community, and pursue “remilitarization”. The Japanese side has pushed forward the revision of the three national security documents, vigorously developed offensive military capabilities, and even clamored for the possession of nuclear weapons. Such dangerous moves are very alarming.
"China upholds the principle of looking towards the future while learning from history. The crux of the issue is to heed historical warnings so that the past tragedies could never be repeated,” said the spokesperson.
"Peace-loving people around the world should unite to resolutely curb the resurgence and spread of 'neo-militarism' in Japan, and to firmly uphold regional peace and stability as well as the safety and well-being of the people," the spokesperson added.
