as a whole, i am so very impressed with the #dhurandhar duology. this is some of india’s best cinema, equal parts brutal and cathartic. watching this in a packed theater was like binging an intense mini-series on the big screen. must watch!

somehow, the only people that are getting what they want with this are the losers who complain about how a woman looks in a video game. which can’t be the underserved demographic you want to bank on. right! right?!

on a real note, while i do think dlss 5 sharpens the backgrounds and clarifies smaller points of detail, based on their own promo images, it cuts into artistic intent to pull games toward an AI-powered median that’s not worth the trade off.

@TylerGlaiel had this thought playing requiem. for a game that can be so intense, i think the laughs are a defense mechanism. a way to lighten the mood after the scary stuff. not that case for all RE games thought as some are unintentionally funny for bad reasons.

resident evil games are like almost always funnier than any other games out there. I laugh more playing them than games that are explicitly intended to be funny.
