@LeRoyDesCimes I apologize for the yammering and advice-like shapes. But this is a very familiar motivation, and I think at a high level it is a good one. It would be pleasant if people were less distressed by it, and therefore less likely to throw it away.

I'm reluctant to use people and it's one of my biggest barriers. Don't have the reflex of hiring someone, paying for a service, reaching out for a call, exchanging favours to exploit comparative advantages. Suspect it's all downstream of either: - not wanting to bother people. - not feeling legitimate - (the shameful one ) reluctant to take on pressure, because involving another person means allowing a set of eyes on my work
