Zayne’s always been faster at memorizing things than Rae. Rae, on the other hand, needs to write everything down and repeat it a bunch of times. She likes to go over what she learned by talking it out with Zayne, she says it helps her remember better. And Zayne’s always there, listening and gently correcting her when she gets something wrong. Since they’re doctors, case discussions and presentations are just part of their routine. This was during their internship. Rae was studying for a case report the next day, but she ended up falling asleep mid-study and started mumbling in her sleep, calling Zayne’s name and even talking about the case she was trying to memorize.
