Tuesday's horse racing thread 🧵 Pontefract 2.52 Daydreama 5/1 each way Pontefract 4.32 Different Drum 5/2 Yarmouth 5.25 Lady Of Clover 5/2 Ffos Las 5.42 Jaccours 2/1 NEXT BEST Ffos Las 6.12 Asta Lad Vista 9/2 each way Wolverhampton 6.30 Beaune 7/4 NAP I'm really not convinced by Alaminos just yet and Cape Ashizuri looks a bit slow for 6f so DAYDREAMA could be the value play. He has only had a couple of starts in handicaps and back down to 6f things could click again. The money is starting to come and he should run a big race. Siding with DIFFERENT DRUM here off the back of that win over hurdles at Carlisle at the start of the month. He is back on the Flat and looks handicapped to have a big say. This isn't the best race and it is no surprise to see him favourite as he looks the one to beat. I wouldn't judge LADY OF CLOVER too harshly on that run at Southwell. She was much better beaten just a couple of lengths at Wolverhampton prior to that and now switched to turf she could improve again and come good here under Shoemark. Obviously JACCOURS wasn't at his best at Ayr eventually making a bad error and then pulling up. That was his chase debut and I expect him to leave that behind and bounce back in a big way here. This track will suit and he still has potential so hopefully he is the one to beat under Sean Bowen. I can't help but feel Trust House is too skinny here. He won well at Market Rasen but is 8lb higher and this is coming soon enough. ASTA LA VISTA is unexposed and looks better value. He goes handicapping and this ground should be ideal so I think he'll give us a good run for our money. With 2 wins from his last 4 starts BEAUNE is looking progressive. This trip is his optimum and I thought he was good value for that win over C&D last time as he was going away at the line. Probert takes over now which is a positive and with the yard going great guns he is expected to follow up against these.
