After 10 years of dealing with it, we finally caught my SVT. My latest episode during WrestleMania pushed my resting heart rate to 228 for almost 15 minutes. Yesterday, Dr. Girgis spent 3 hours working on me… and I had to be awake for the last hour of the procedure!! 😖 Thankfully it was minimally invasive and I’ll be back to work very soon.

@Xhr0l @Renegade_Joey Cards ill hold forever its Ace. But mainly 9s. Just want the raw card in a nice slab protected with a nice label. Cards I like the art for - like the IR Castform for example. Cards i want to hold for the money then yes PSA 10 - unfortunately.

@seasider86 @Renegade_Joey I can definitely agree with this, I don’t agree with ace. But I get it, but even when it’s comes to pc I consider them long term investments. Ace ain’t it when it comes to value. Psa is as corrupt as it comes, and the sad part is they own just about every other grading service.

Can anyone at all explain why this card got a PSA 9? -The centering on the front is almost perfect -same thing with back centering -No specks of white -Corners crispy -surface is perfect I thought this shit was a guaranteed 10 lmaoooooo

@Xhr0l @Renegade_Joey Not a PSA fan boy at all. Think they are corrupt as f*ck. I prefer the slabs from Ace for my personal collection. Just saying pack fresh does not mean PSA 10. Its always been that way. Resubmit it. Youll get a 10. Happens all the time.

@Renegade_Joey The only reasonable explanation is the slight slant, however. This is the whole reason I don’t like psa. I feel like on modern they just give out 9s and 8s on pack fresh cards because everything can’t be a 10🤷🏼‍♂️. a girl I talked to yesterday got a 7 on a pack fresh mint card.

@seasider86 @pray4goodpulls It shouldn’t be. That’s the problem. Investor bros and sneaker heads created a bubble over the course of the last 5 years. If you zoom out to roughly 10 years ago, you could still get booster boxes of previous sets for MSRP. Even vintage sealed for a semi-reasonable price.

Pokemon collecting is in such a funny place right now. You can buy a singular 151 PC ETB for $1400 or all the chase cards for $965. Yall are sick 🤣🤣

@Cathy2560 @hydra468 Of course. We are only a couple of sets into ME. But as time goes on alot of sealed will be sold as people cash in and that will happen sooner than you think. Its a very very high commitment and discipline and many will need the money sooner rather than later.

@seasider86 @hydra468 Yeah except printing levels are way way more than they were during SM. And most people buying sealed at double price are unlikely to be opening, thus there will still be a supply of sealed. I would not underestimate the amount of scvi onwards sealed honestly

“ modern sealed is trash “ you’re right but not for long we’ve NEVER had this many rip n shippers in the history of this hobby, had this many youtubers ripping for vids, and has this many people in the hobby in general. pokemon (and op) gets ripped at a crazy rate every single day. i know people who rip more in a month than most people will ever rip in their life. there’s NEW kids in the hobby who will grow up onto these sets, and they’ll come back and splurge, or have their parents do it for them i didn’t grow up on base set, i was born long after. my earliest ripping memories are opening plasma storm, dragon exalted, and the XY era. guess what sealed i like to rip or buy the most? even without these kids it’s the same story, it’ll rise due to multiple other variables, so i’d atleast get your hands on it while it’s “trash” demand outweighs supply (crazy) also saying modern is trash is somewhat cope for not being able to grab product. which is understandable because it IS hard to.

@Cathy2560 @hydra468 Yet many people will sell when their stuff doubles. I was here during Sun & Moon when exactly the same was being said in the latter half of the era. People were storing boxes. Where are those boxes now? People jump off far sooner than you realise.

@hydra468 More sealed is also being kept than ever before also. Can't forget that, the more out there there is the less likely its gonna explode into madness
