@designbyaron Yeahh i understand your point. I guess as a designer once you put hrs into it it becomes your baby. you would rather work for free than see it get mutilated haha

retainers are an interesting model, but also introduce new constraints It all depends on deliverables/m and they need to be priced accordingly so the communication is a biiiiiig thing. often times its hard to price something at a flat rate when companies have bigger needs. we've experienced this a lot in practice, so retainers aren't too common from where I'm standing

Something we keep noticing: clients get brand guidelines and a figma file, but six months later the brand has drifted without in-house designers. The reality is a PDF cannot keep up with a living, breathing brand. Nor can the people running the company. So now we ship both the files & docs and the custom tools we built to design the brand. Ones clients will actually use. The deliverables havent changed, but the way to get there has evolved drastically. Come build with us. pixelorb studio v2 coming soon
