Woke up in a cave with strange wounds on the palms of my hands. A large boulder is blocking the entrance, but I think I can roll it away.

I always find it difficult to say “This is simply the best place” when you can't even manage to leave your own apartment building.

Well. Nice post, but the reality is that we don't know if there aren't millions of better planets out there because we've only just barely reached our own moon three times in the last 60 years, let alone know about the other planets, let alone the Milky Way, let alone other Galax

The difficult part is that you have to photograph completely blind (the viewfinder is almost black) and guess the exposure. Obviously, you can't adjust the aperture at all. But it's a lot of fun.

I was just out in the woods taking photos without a lens. I simply drilled through an old Canon body cover, glued a piece of cardboard inside, and made a tiny hole in the center with a needle. The results are super interesting.

Playing music is incredibly fun and inspiring, of course, but writing music is 1000% my thing. I could go deaf tomorrow and would still continue doing it until the end of my life.

The strange thing about composing today is that people expect you to be able to play all the instruments you write music for. I try, and my house is full of them, but around 1800 I would have simply written the music down on paper and only heard it in my head.
