How to get promoted at any team-based job where everyone you work with has a similar role. A simple guide. 👇 “Hey Raf, since you can see I’ve been the top performing person in the project for speed, accuracy and quality, I think I can help everyone else on the team boost their speed, accuracy and quality. Do you want to give it a shot?” Both times someone has used some kind of variation of that line on me they got promoted.👀 I did the same thing to my bosses when I was a kid and it worked back then too. Gogetters want to work side by side with other Gogetters. 🤝 The key here is: ✅ First become the best on your team. ✅ Prove this by becoming the fastest, most reliable and most accurate on deliverables with the best communication skills. ✅ Offer to help improve the performance of everyone else on the team. ✅ Not letting yourself become “AI replaceable” instead become indispensable. Even if the role doesn’t actually exist presently a smart boss will create that role for you. 💯 It’s basically the exact same concept if you’re a startup/entrepreneur trying to get clients. Demonstrate why you’re the person who can lighten the load/improve deliverables/service for decision makers in companies by becoming the best. 🫡 Now go get that promotion/client so you can celebrate that win. 🙏
