Added three editors to gamedev.sh: Pixel Art, Voxel, and Pixel Art 3D.
The last one is especially interesting — you draw pixel art sprites from multiple sides, and it assembles them into a 3D view.

After 10+ years in software, AI agents made me feel like a beginner again.
Not because of productivity — but because they brought back curiosity. Less typing, more thinking. Less mechanics, more "why".
Feels closer to why I loved coding in the first place.

Added a bunch of small UI improvements and several new tools to gamedev.sh — a free collection of tools for game developers.
One of them is the first audio tool, which lets you easily trim audio files.

@SachinKankane@PlaygamaCom It depends on the game. The same game performs completely differently on different platforms, so it needs to be released everywhere.
How to edit AI images without chaos:
Don’t regenerate. Extract JSON, tweak what you need, resend with the original + prompt.
Result:
• Consistency
• Fewer hallucinations
• Precise edits

If you're generating game sprites with AI, don’t ask for a single image—ask for a set (e.g., 9 in a grid) in a consistent style + include a reference. Results are far more usable right away.
Liked this so much I built it into a tool on gamedev.sh#gamedev#indiedev
But after using it for a while, I realized something — tools like this are actually much more convenient when they live in the browser.
gamedev.sh
It opens up many more possibilities for iteration, sharing, and overall flexibility.

Tired of switching tools as a game dev, I built opengine — a VS Code extension that does it all in one place.
• Kanban tasks
• Image tools
• AI asset generation
Native feel, local data, zero context switching.
Search “opengine” in VS Code 🚀

Indie devs need to show their games to players as early as possible.
One of my games took months. Team of 3. Earned $0.
Another game? Built in one evening with AI. Already made $10.
Players don’t care how hard you worked. They care if it’s fun.
