Spider-Man’s web shooters actually require a surprising amount of force to activate.
In some canon versions, the trigger needs around “tens of pounds” of pressure, which Peter can easily handle due to his super strength. That’s also why normal people struggle with them like Ned in Homecoming, who had to use both hands just to trigger them.
So if someone steals Peter’s web shooters, they can’t just fire them like him they’d also need enhanced strength to even activate them properly.

Reminds me of a certain celebrity that got into Trese after the Netflix show came out. He bought a bunch of the comics and self proclaimed himself the Trese superfan in a Trese workshop he did which was himself flexing his recently bought merch.
