Kathy Staley Maguire has been named to the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026! Kathy was a 4-time STAC All-Star for Maine-Endwell from 1983-1986, including All-Conference her final two years. Congrats! wicz.com/sports/greater…

Corning wraps up our 2025 review, capturing the Class AAA title for a 2nd consecutive year in a 4-0 win. Sophie Schoonover drove in all four runs and Matti Johnston struck out 8 in a 2-hitter. stsportsreport.com/index_get.php?…

In Class AA, Horseheads built an early lead, then held off Vestal's comeback bid to win the championship, 7-6. Megan Wolf reached base all 4 times and K'd 9 in the circle. They would ride this momentum all the way to the State Championship game. wicz.com/sports/horsehe…

Maine-Endwell made it three straight Class A titles, outlasting Chenango Valley in slugfest, 14-11. 10 runs in the 4th and 5th was the difference. Olivia Virgil smashed a grand slam and RBI single, and picked up the win in relief. wbng.com/video/2025/06/…

For the 2nd straight year, Class B belonged to Susquehanna Valley. Edison put up an early fight, but SV pulled away for a 10-5 victory. Rianne Moelder led the way with a pair of doubles and four runs scored. wicz.com/sports/susqueh…

A year after winning another Class D State Championship, Deposit-Hancock bumped up to Class C and claimed their fifth straight Section IV title, 7-1 over Tioga. Addison Makowski K'd 14 and Sarah Gross launched a three-run homer. wicz.com/sports/deposit…

Over the last 6 days of 2025, let's celebrate our 6 Section IV champs! Morris/Edmeston claimed the Class D title as a #6 seed, downing #8 Laurens/Milford 14-9. Morris won their first sectional title, and Edmeston their fourth (first since 1984). wicz.com/sports/edmesto…
