What is the point of this message anyway?’ But every single time, we all pulled together, held on to each other, and that's how we made it to this very day. Unfortunately, our shows in China fell through. It’s a huge disappointment. No matter how much this world tries to move things through politics, music is originally supposed to stand in a completely different place. That’s exactly what we were thinking when we made this album. But we will absolutely, definitely come back again to meet all of you in China. Let me say just one last thing. The next song is going to be our last. No matter how many 'beautiful words' musicians say from the stage, the world won’t change because of it. The only ones who can change it are every single one of you. All we can do is stand at the front and broadcast our words, our stance, our songs, and our feelings through a microphone. If you’re a fan of Japanese music and live outside of Japan, I would be so grateful if you take a moment to read this🙏 If you’ve ever wondered why more Japanese artists don’t reach out and do shows & tours overseas, the reason is pretty simple and the main one is the hurdle of selling tickets. There is only a SMALL percentage of artists that can rely on the power of big labels/agents to promote their shows internationally. Even in Japan, selling out shows is a lot more challenging than in past years, due to people just being satisfied with digital content. And considering it costs even more to bring a tour overseas, you can imagine how many artists are willing to LOSE money by doing so, if any. It’s not just about the artist not being popular or sufficient enough, or that they don’t have the will to bring their content to fans around the world. In fact, there are so many fellow artists around me that I highly respect, telling me they wish they could do shows overseas, but know it’s not realistically possible, and as someone who yearns for the same thing, it really, really hurts inside. More importantly, it hurts most that fans around the world will often never ever be able to see a show of their favorite Japanese artist. I’m not trying to ask for pity, nor demand anything, unless this resonates with you. But if it does, and you want to know what you can do to help us reach you with our music, it’s really very simple. Please go follow artist’s socials. Please go subscribe to their Youtube channels. Please find them on Spotify. Please interact with them by commenting and letting them know you’re there to support them. Please share your passion with the people around you. AND PLEASE, don’t miss the opportunity to buy a ticket and GO to their shows, when that miraculous opportunity comes, whether it’s a solo or event stage. I am not exaggerating when I say it IS a miracle and it might never happen again. I know writing all this isn’t gonna change much, but I just hope it reminds you that every listener, every fan, every second of support matters in keeping music alive, particularly in this generation. TW // sexual harassment self harm Di konser OOR kemarin, karena aku bosan di holding area, aku ngajak ngobrol cowok, awalnya biasa aja, nanya darimana segala macem, sayangnya obrolannya begitu cepat mengarah ke ajakan untuk berhubungan seksual, dia nanya hotel aku dimana, dan apa pas pulang aku bisa berhubungan sama dia 🥲 di situ pun dia notice luka self harm-ku dan saat itu juga dia pegang-pegang tanganku sambil masukin jari dia ke sela jariku. Tanganku dingin soalnya panik, tapi karena dingin diapun makin lama pegang tanganku, itu semua terjadi dalam waktu 15 menit. Dia berkali-kali ngerayu aku, bahkan bercanda mau menculik, mau nyamperin ke hotelku, atau ke rumahku pas pulang nanti, aku udah bilang hotelku kapsul, tapi dia tetep mendesak aku, dia bisa nebak kamarku untuk 2 orang, betul, tapi itu karena aku agak agoraphobia Aku gabisa apa-apa selain ngerespon dia terus within safety limits dan tanpa kelihatan takut, entah berapa kali aku bilang jangan, tapi dia tetep berusaha… Dia juga sempet minta nomor telfon dan Instagram aku, untungnya aku bisa nolak, bener-bener gak kebayang, takutnya dia bisa nge-track aku segala macem 🥹 Aku tau ini salah aku sendiri karena ajak ngobrol laki-laki stranger, karena aku kira kita bisa hanya ngobrolin seputar OOR aja gitu… Oh ya, posisi aku itu di samping ada beberapa fans Hong Kong dan di belakangku fans Korea, jadi aku kesulitan untuk ngobrol sama mereka Sialnya waktu konsernya selesai, waktu masih di dalem, dia nemu aku lagi, tapi untungnya ada Ben lagi beres-beres, jadi aku cosplay jadi cegilnya Ben di situ yang omongannya bener-bener aku buat secegil mungkin, akhirnya lama-lama dia ninggalin aku,,,,mau minta maaf bgt sama Ben karena dijadiin batu loncatan 😭 Buat cewek-cewek, barangkali kamu gabut nunggu di holding area, tolong hati-hati ya kalau ngobrol sama cowok, atau gak usah aja sekalian deh hiks jujur agak trauma aku 😭 maaf kl dari cerita ini aku ada kesalahan yang gak aku sadari sehingga memicu kejadian ini, tapi niatku bener-bener cuma untuk ngobrol.
