DBD has not been this survivor sided since the Boon: COH release, yet SoloQ is the worst it's ever been.

I get it, but winning fast and easy when playing Killer is both boring and lazy IMO. I've played Nurse for years, and I can't play her at the level I could because I would simply be decimating mostly SoloQ lobbies, and that is not fun. I play her well enough that I can keep the other team in the game for as long as I want, and if I find the "once in a blue moon" decent swf, then I can play how I want. (I play Huntress/Oni exactly the same way, but admittedly, my skill set is being a Nurse main. So again, if you are decent at the Killer you're playing, I do not see the need, unless you obsessively need to win EVERY Killer game, then I suppose that is a good enough reason.

@seek722 I agree that you don’t need to slug to win but there’s no good reason not to do it. You avoid so many S tier perks by slugging. And if you’re really good at downing survivors fast you can win extremely easily but just leaving a survivor on the ground and going to the next one.

why do people still get mad about slugging and why is it the worst reasoning possible

Tbh I personally think if you play moderately well as Killer, you will end up winning most of your games. Most of your games are not going to be coordinated 4-stacks, and since the majority of your games are not SWFs, why beat up on SoloQ? If you're decent with a killer, I genuinely don't think it's necessary to slug most of the time.

Slugging counters a lot of the best perks in the game right now. So why wouldn’t the killers slug to just avoid those perks all together and try to win the game purely off of chase/slugging?
