Cumulative Tesla FSD miles since 2020: • 2020: ~5 million • 2021: ~11 million • 2022: ~91 million • 2023: ~761 million • 2024: ~3 billion • 2025: ~7.2 billion • 2026 (May 3rd): 10 billion • 2026 (June 9): 11 billion • 2026 (July 17): 12 billion That data already proves FSD is 8x safer than humans at driving.

@dr__dwayne @don_bjerg @niccruzpatane In addition to averages, sounds like they should also compare their accident rates to ADAS equipped cars from all manufacturers. Where do the manufacturers publish their data? Which manufacturers are the safest? Toyota? BMW? Mercedes?

@seekcmo @don_bjerg @niccruzpatane Any modern new car is multiple times safer than a 12 year old car. It's crazy you think it's cool and normal to compare a new Tesla to a 12 year old car.

@dr__dwayne @don_bjerg @niccruzpatane Then how would an average driver with an average car know how much safer they'd be if they bought a Tesla & subscribed to supervised FSD?

@seekcmo @don_bjerg @niccruzpatane They should only compare the accident rate of a Tesla driven manually vs a Tesla driven on supervised FSD. That takes away all variables on how safe FSD is. But then the propaganda would be less impressive.

@dr__dwayne @don_bjerg @niccruzpatane Yes. They use average driver driving an average car for that metric. What else would they use for average US miles before a major collision?

@seekcmo @don_bjerg @niccruzpatane You're an average driver, I'm an average driver. We both don't drive a 12 year old car. The average age of a car in the US is 12 years. Tesla uses that metric, not the driver, driving it.

@don_bjerg @niccruzpatane And even that is wrong. The average (US) human driver also drives a Tesla or any other modern day car. A human supervising FSD is only about 2x safer.

Unleashing large blue collar guys on open bars/crown club should be a televised event. I’m bringing like 1200 pounds of dude hungry for crown royals Friday.

@seekcmo To be honest with you, I think anyone driving a Tesla and using FSD should be banned from the roadway. Those things have been proven to cause more accidents than they avoid.
