@BernardoFariaJJ It's hard to perform as well in MMA when you can't use steroids anymore. Their BJJ careers were based on heavy steroid use.

It hurts my soul when I see people typing negative things about Buchecha and Rodolfo on their performances. A few things to point out: they are both Gi and No-Gi World Champions (both have won ADCC). In the entire history of MMA, only two people have won Worlds, ADCC, and a UFC title (Werdum and Mackenzie Dern), which shows how extremely hard it is to succeed in all three. Also, let’s remember that UFC rules do not help Jiu-Jitsu at all. It is three rounds of five minutes, and when you finally get a takedown, you often only have one or two minutes left to work, which is rarely enough. Then the fight restarts on the feet, which is one of the worst situations for us from Jiu-Jitsu. So to say they are terrible in MMA or that they cannot fight, I do not agree. Maybe they are just not suited for these rules. If it were PRIDE-style rules, with one 10-minute round followed by two 5-minute rounds, things could look different. Lastly, we cannot forget that they both started MMA in their 30s, while today many fighters begin training MMA as kids, teenagers, or in their early 20s. These guys are legends, and what they are doing is crazy crazy hard, and especially on their ages and circumstances considering that they spent most of their careers training to win Jiu-Jitsu tournaments.

The difference between a drug and a vaccine? It was just announced GSK “will pay up to $2.2 billion to settle roughly 80,000 state court cases claiming Zantac [a heartburn drug] … caused them to develop cancer.” If Zantac were, however, a childhood vaccine (such as GSK’s Hep B vaccine, Tdap vaccine, flu shot, MMR vaccine, etc.) there would be no $2.2 billion payment and this product would still be considered safe and effective. Why? Because the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 gave GSK immunity for design defect claims and direct failure to warn claims for injuries caused by its childhood vaccines. Caveat emptor. law360.com/classaction/ar…

Today I’m going to set the record straight by explaining my exact posture, point-by-point, on what is probably the most controversial issue of my campaign—a medical safety issue that impacts every one of us. If you take a few minutes to listen, I think you might be surprised to find out how much we actually agree.

If wind turbines were to supply half the world’s electricity, nearly 2 billion tons of coal would have to be consumed to produce the concrete and steel, along with 1.5 billion barrels of oil to make the composite blades. #GreenEnergy

Gun manufacturers can be sued for manufacturing defects but vaccine manufacturers cannot. Injuring someone with a gun or a knife or even a car, is a serious crime, but injuring someone with a vaccine isn’t even a misdemeanor. This is not justice.

We created the below image to help visualize the CDC's vaccine schedule (and only until 12 months of age) pre-1986 Act (which gave pharma companies immunity for vaccine injuries) and today.

Context, 1983 v. 2024: In 1983, CDC's vaccine schedule had 3 routine vaccines -- DTP, MMR and OPV.   In 1986, due to company crushing liability from injury claims from these products, Congress passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act giving pharma companies financial immunity for harms caused by those 3 vaccines and future vaccines.   Now, the CDC has 17 routine vaccines for children (90 doses), 4 during pregnancy (4 doses), and 4 during adulthood (130 doses). Almost all effectively liability free. No other product -- not planes, cars, chain saws, etc. -- enjoys this level of immunity. Even gun companies can be sued for design defects claims -- but not pharma for vaccines given to babies.   1983: cdc.gov/vaccines/sched… 1986: congress.gov/bill/99th-cong… 2024: Children: cdc.gov/vaccines/sched… Adults: cdc.gov/vaccines/sched… Pregnancy: cdc.gov/vaccines/pregn…

I really don’t think people understand just how bad this Covid Passport actually is. Look into it, it’s not just checking that people got the vaccine. It is setting up a national caste system and a spying apparatus unlike anything in our history. This is it. The big one. Fight it
